ChinaArtyzen Hospitality Group (AHG) has announced the debut of Artyzen Hotels & Resorts and Artyzen Habitat - new event and conference venues to look out for at the Shanghai Lingang New City.

A Shun Tak Holdings Limited subsidiary, it will be AHG’s third and fourth hotel signing in Shanghai within a span of six months. The management agreement for these two news hotels expected for a 2021 completion will be with Shanghai Lujiazu Xinchen Investment Co. Ltd. Lingang New City is one of six main developments identified as key in the expansion of Shanghai.

Artyzen Hotels & Resorts on Lingang New City will have circa 350 units while Artyzen Habitat will have 300 units. The two hotels will also be part of a mixed-use development consisting of a standalone convention centre, ballroom, retail and F&B outlets, as well as serviced apartments. The Lingang Conference and Exhibition Centre will be able to host conferences and events for up to 1,800, while the Artyzen Ballroom will be able to host up to 1,000 guests. This development will also complement the overall ecosystem of the location, targeting business, MICE, family leisure and extended stay market.

The DNA of Artyzen Hotels & Resorts and Artyzen Habitat brands centre around building a community and connecting social ecosystems – convenience, individuality and authencity. “The Lingang location is rich with undiscovered local culture and history. In the early days it was a traditional fishing village and port for the salt trade. This intriguing heritage will be celebrated in our hotels and shared with our guests,” said Robbert van der Maas, President of Artyzen Hospitality Group.

The group is currently in varying stages of discussion to have their brands in key cities across Southeast Asia, notably Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Hong Kong. Artyzen’s first citizenM hotel in Asia will be built in Taipei, Taiwan next year.
