Singapore – Janet Tan-Collis, President for the Singapore Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (SACEOS), has announced two key roles to help shape the country’s business events landscape.
Anita Tan joined SACEOS on November 21, 2016, as Director of Events and Sales; Shirlena Soh will join SACEOS as Executive Director on December 15, 2016.
An industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience in the tourism industry, Tan will be responsible for the marketing and promotion of SACEOS events, which will include the Singapore MICE Forum (SMF) and the 1-2-1 Asia Business Meet.
She was also formerly Head of Travel at American International Group (AIG) and Chief Operating Officer at the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS).
Previously the Director of Business Development and Operations for Human Genome Organisation (HUGO) International and an honorary Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore, Soh works closely with the Singapore government in her new role to help shape the future of Singapore’s meetings, incentive, conventions, exhibitions and events industry, and to help chart the industry’s growth path.
