Taiwan – MEET TAIWAN has announced the Singapore finalist for Asia Super Team: The Almighty Player, a competition where seven companies from around the region will compete for MICE tourism packages to Taiwan worth over USD50,000.
Launched in July, Asia Super Team: The Almighty Player has since attracted over 150 entries from companies across the Asia Pacific region. Teams with the highest score in each country are qualified as finalists. EU MICE Pte Ltd stood out in Singapore from over 35 corporate competitors vying for the championship.
During the preliminary round of the competition, teams were put through an online game that tested their knowledge of Taiwan’s MICE environment and resources, as well as their passion and team spirit. The online game also gave contestants the chance to virtually experience the abundance of MICE attractions and major festivals in Taiwan.
The finals will see seven teams from Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Hong Kong & Macao compete in a five-day trip in Taiwan, demonstrating five of the core abilities expected of today’s business events talent: agility, responsiveness, courage, creativity and intelligence.
Companies and citizens across the Asia Pacific region can check in for the latest contest updates and show support for their national representatives by casting their votes on Asia Super Team: The Almighty Player’s website (asiasuperteam.meettaiwan.com). Lucky winners stand to win all expense paid round-trip tickets to Taiwan sponsored by China Airlines.
The second phase of online voting will be opened from 6pm on October 3, 2016 to 11.59pm on October 5, 2016.
The final winner will be revealed at the 2016 Asia Super Team: The Almighty Player Award Ceremony on October 15, 2016.
